Beyond Image Solutions
Digital Marketing & eCommerce Agency
Denton, TX · Started by Rich Ferry
Beyond Image Solutions didn't start in a corporate boardroom — it started in a garage. Long before the agency was formed, founder Rich Ferry was a 16-year-old kid running a car audio shop out of his backyard in New Jersey. He was building a car club called Team Ground Zero, and turning a body kit import operation into a legitimate eBay power-seller business called ImpactCustomz.com.
That hustle wasn't an accident. It was the product of a kid who learned early that you either figure things out or you don't eat. Rich lost both parents before age 12 — his father to a drunk driver, his mother to illness — and moved through four homes in three states before high school. Through all of it, he earned his Eagle Scout rank, completed high adventure trips to SeaBase and the Saranac Lakes, and served as patrol leader, senior patrol leader, and Order of the Arrow.
"He completed Eagle Scout in just a few years — despite moving constantly, losing both parents, and bouncing between family homes. That's not a résumé line. That's character."
After a scholarship to DeVry and an early exit to run TGZ Designs — his full-service car audio and body kit shop — Rich eventually returned to college at the University of North Texas. There, as VP of Recruitment for Sigma Phi Epsilon, he survived a brutal unprovoked assault that left him with bilateral brain bleeding, a metal plate in his jaw, and two weeks in the ICU. He graduated anyway. Seven years after starting. With brain damage. Because that's what he does.
His marketing career began at Architel in Dallas as an SEO Specialist, where he integrated early Bitcoin payment systems for clients before most businesses had heard the word. He then founded Pixskull Studio — a Denton-based laser engraving business that became one of North Texas's first vendors to accept Bitcoin — and simultaneously ran BitcoinDirect.net, selling custom etched Bitcoin glassware to the cryptocurrency community.
"In December 2010, Rich got what appears to be the first Bitcoin QR code tattoo in the world — done by his client FastLane Tattoos, who he'd just convinced to start accepting BTC."
— BitcoinTalk Forum, December 2010As a contracted eCommerce Manager at Hilton Worldwide, Rich managed a portfolio of 50+ hotel properties across the Americas. He built the Rich Media Sniper Tool — an internal browser-based image management tool that spread organically through Hilton's global eCommerce teams, earning recognition from directors in Australia, Europe, Japan, and across North America. He took the Redmont Hotel Birmingham from a struggling boutique with outdated TripAdvisor scores to #1 in Birmingham in two months.
Beyond Image Solutions is the vessel for everything Rich has built since. It's not an agency in the traditional sense — it's a full-spectrum digital operating partner for businesses that want real results from someone who has lived in the trenches of SEO, eCommerce, content, social, crypto, and hospitality marketing for over 15 years.
