Why We Built This

Some people never stop showing up
for everyone else. This is for them.

I've had the privilege of being helped and supported by people who are heroes — often without anyone ever knowing what they were saving, protecting, or carrying for someone else. This is one way Beyond Image Solutions gets to give a little of that back.

In Memory & In Honor

The people who taught us this.

Everyone builds their values from somewhere. Some of ours came from people we lost far too soon, and some from people who are still showing up for us today. We wanted to say their names out loud instead of just quietly building around them.

Kevin Apuzzio

Firefighter · East Franklin Fire Dept, NJ

My best friend growing up. On April 11, 2006, at just 21 years old, Kevin ran into a burning home to rescue a woman trapped inside. He didn't make it out. He was posthumously honored, and his family started a foundation in his name that still funds scholarships and training for young firefighters and EMTs today.

I still carry his name — literally, in a tattoo. I briefly volunteered with a fire department myself while in college. Departments like his are common back home in NJ, rarer here in Texas — one more reason this matters to me.

Richard Brydon

U.S. Army · WWII & Korea

My grandfather, and the man I'm named after — Richard Brydon Ferry. He served in the Army through WWII and Korea, and by family account was among the first troops across the Ludendorff Bridge at Remagen, one of the pivotal crossings of the war.

My grandparents had five daughters and no sons to carry his name forward. My mother was the youngest, and she lost her father before I was ever born. I never met him — but I carry him with me every day.

Joanne & Walter Butler

Attorney · U.S. Marine Corps (Ret.)

My "Aunt" Joanne was my mother's best friend and an incredible attorney, and she has been in my corner through some of the hardest chapters of my life — especially after I lost my mom far too soon. Her husband, my "Uncle" Walter, gave his career to the Marine Corps, retiring after a lifetime of service — and then found a new calling volunteering at the hospital.

Family isn't only who you're born to. Sometimes it's who shows up.

Clyde Long

U.S. Marine Corps · Family Friend

We lost Clyde far too recently — it hasn't even been two years. A Marine and a true family friend, Clyde was the kind of person who went out of his way to make sure I had what I needed, professionally and personally, without ever being asked twice.

He and his wife opened their home to me during one of the hardest stretches of my life. That's not something I'll ever forget, and it's not something I take lightly building this program in his memory.

The Heroes We Serve

Every kind of "showing up," covered.

U.S. Army veteran, copywriter, and the newest member of our team — David is the driving force behind the Veteran Business Jumpstart program and covers our Denton / North Texas territory. Beyond BIS, David is also involved with two nonprofits doing real work for veterans:

Jordan's Copywriting Service Veterans OATH — housing & family support for veterans We Got Your Six — rebuilding lives of homeless veterans

The Barrientos Group

Partner · Veteran-Led Real Estate

A veteran-led real estate team serving Central Texas, founded by Julian Barrientos, a 27-year U.S. Army combat veteran. They're the team behind Heroes Deserve Homes, built around VA loans, military relocations, and the realities of service life.

Bendt Distilling Co.

Client · Veteran-Owned

We had the privilege of helping build the digital presence for Witherspoon Distillery, a veteran-owned spirits brand founded by two Marines, Quentin Witherspoon and Ryan DeHart, built on a mission bigger than the bottle. The brand has since evolved into Bendt Distilling Co., carried forward today by Ryan and his wife Natasha — and we're proud to have been part of the story.

Ready When You Are

This is our way of saying thank you.

If you or someone you know fits either program, we'd love to build them a home base — free, no catch.
